my eye is still driving me nuts. i assume it’s one of those floaty things, and i think they dissolve. right? it wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t in my good eye, because i rely pretty heavily on it. what with the other one hardly working and all. and, in other health news, apparently, i won’t be able to take my meds anymore. one of them may cause limb defects if taken during the first trimester. (hope i didn’t get knocked up in tampa! heh.
) but i’ll freak out about that in the baby blog.
and poor brumby’s been sick. he’s eating and drinking like mad, and wet the bed the night before last, which he’s only done once before, as a puppy. he also peed on the living room floor at some point yesterday. i’m hoping it’s just a uti and can be fixed with some antibiotics. (though a uti wouldn’t explain the voracious appetite and diarrhea.) he’s going to the vet this afternoon to see what the problem might be. he had to sleep in his crate last night, which we brought upstairs so he could at least sleep in the same room as us. i missed cuddling him, and i don’t think he slept too well. i didn’t sleep well, either, because his collar was jangling through the night. poor little dog. i hope he’s okay.
i guess i’d better get back to work. blah.

You should probably get your eye looked at – I don’t want to be an alarmist, but it could be something more serious than just a floaty and you don’t want to just leave it. I forget when you first mentioned it, but it must be at least a week ago, right? Take it from one who spends a fair amount of time worrying about her vision — go see your optometrist and get any serious problems ruled out.

sigh. yeah, i figured i’d have to get it checked out. i don’t have insurance for eye-related stuff, but i reckon a check-up won’t kill me. i know with certain things – like the condition you have, for example – time is of the essence with regard to saving your vision.

I definitely agree, you should get it checked out. But try not to panic, I´ve had a floater in my left eye since I was 17, and when I first got it I was so upset. The doctor told me they don´t go away, and at first it´s so distracting that I was really upset. But I´ve noticed two things:
if you´re dehydrated it´s worse, and if you´ve been drinking enough fluids it gets a little better (I have no idea why)
and eventually you don´t really notice it anymore. I completely forgot about mine until you mentioned yours and -Oh! There it is!
Anyway sisser that really sucks and I´m sorry. Get it checked out, I hope it´ll be ok.
PS: I´ll be online after 12 (my time, 1 yours?) if you want to chat…

aaaaghhh and my internet connection at home is gone
wtf? I got home and my room flooded (again), this time the source is mysterious. I´ll find out tomorrow. I´m also going to yell at my landlord bc it appears the internet has gone MIA as well…
