Oh I *HATE* that stupid website!
I’ve seen it before but I avoid reading articles there now b/c I nearly have an aneurysm every time I do. It’s full of some of the creepiest, misogynistic bull shit. (As if watching porn wasn’t already putting/maintaining enough abusive ideas in their heads they’ve got to have websites like this affirming that treating women like shit is ok)

Because most women don’t feel enough unwarranted guilt over eating. Most of these “subtle” (read: manipulative) ways of turning your girl into a toothpick are a surefire way to give her an eating disorder if she doesn’t leave your ass first.
Just another constant daily reminder of why I should never have a relationship ever again. I fucking hate men.

yeah, it was pretty fucking disgusting. that whole website seems like a tutorial on how to be an abusive, manipulative fuckwad. this is the sort of thing that worries me most about having a son.

I don’t know, I see it differently. I think it’s great that your son is going to grow up with parents who are aware of these things, and who don’t just blow it all off as “boys will be boys” like so many other parents have done. If more people really recognized this stuff for what it is and raised their kids accordingly maybe there would be more young men who recognize it too.
